Planning a wedding at Hemingway home is always so unique and fun: the gardens, the cats, the history. When you enter this venue, you automatically feel like you are in a different world. I personally absolutely love working on this property, as this is where I took my first steps in the wedding industry, back when I worked for great events catering as part of their staff.
Yvette and Nate decided to say yes after almost a decade together. yvette had a clear vision of how she wanted her wedding to be like: small, elegant, and simple, yet with some fun color touches. she and I bonded very quickly and working together became super easy and fun.
Iris Moore took the most amazing pictures of the ladies getting ready at the Hemingway suite of the Lighthouse Hotel, very conveniently located right across from Hemingway's home.
Yvette and Nate did a first look followed by some fun bridal party photos around Bahama Village and Truman annex.
The ceremony was officiated by one of the couple’s closest friends and during cocktail hour, the newlyweds had some time to explore the venue and take some cute photos at the balcony of the home, where you can see the iconic Key West lighthouse behind them.
Food and beverages were provided by catered affairs of Key West and, as always, they did a wonderful job.
The party continued with some fun dancing in the hands of DJ Jimmy Cooper, one of the best DJs in Key West without a doubt!
