The iconic Casa Marina Hotel was the dream wedding venue for Kristina and Scott. The resort’s history and beauty are incredibly unique, providing a stunning venue for the couple's loved ones to join in the celebration. This couple chose the convenience of Casa Marina’s freshly renovated suites to get ready in, making it easier for the group and especially photographer Jannette Dellanos to snap fun shots of both groups during the process.
A heartwarming moment and sentimental words were shared between the bride and her parents, The bride then had a “first look” with the couples adorable son Grayson, followed by photos of her with a few of her closest loved ones before the ceremony. A quick touch up of hair and make up by Olivia from Bella Luxe as a second photographer dashed off to the groom, looking sharp as ever, to capture a few family photos.
As guests started to arrive, they were directed to the beach area for the ceremony. Steven, our couple's friend and officiant, assisted in having all guests seated before Scott and Grayson joined him at the altar. Duarte Floral Design used two high pedestals topped with fresh florals, creating a perfect space for their pending nuptials. Then finally, the moment they had all been waiting for, leaving Scott totally overcome with emotion. Kristina and her dad strolled down the aisle, a truly heartfelt first look at this beautiful bride.
February is often the perfect time of year in the Florida Keys for a beautiful outdoor wedding reception, although a weather backup is always recommended, Casa Marina offers incredibly elegant ballrooms, the Flagler and Grand Ballrooms, both featuring the historic hardwood floor. . This day went perfectly as the teams of Lit Marquee, Eventfully Yours, and Duarte Floral Design set up the evening’s gorgeous reception. Guest tables were topped with crisp white linen highlighting the decor, which included a harmonious blend of both subtle and bright pinks balanced by soft white roses and greenery for florals. As for furniture, rustic accents of bentwood chairs and elements of gold and neutral colors tied together with blush pink table numbers designed by Kayla from Blue Thistle Studio along with personalized place cards.
After cocktail hour, we enjoyed a few formalities, a delectable dinner catered and served by Casa Marina Hotel. But before Nick Morse from Kiss Me DJ got the real fun started, we paused for a beautiful moment that no one was prepared for—the bride's dance with her son. Nick played "I Get to Love You" by Ruelle, and there was no dry eye in sight!
As vendors, we are always honored to be a part of your celebration. We witness many touching moments at every wedding, but this beautiful family had us tearing up as often as their friends and family. What a privilege it was to bring your ideas to fruition.
